A cross-country skiing event for all sports enthusiasts. From professional athletes to amateur sportsmen and women to pleasure skiers, everyone will find the right challenge in various competitions. In addition to exciting competitions in various disciplines, participants and spectators are offered a great supporting program.
This event takes up the basic idea of cross-country skiing and focuses on the joy of exercise, physical fitness and health aspects.
Perfectly groomed trails, a varied program and the picturesque landscape of Ramsau await you and all friends of cross-country skiing.
The Nightrace Schladming - FIS World Cup race for men
The tension mounts, night turns to day and the white carpet becomes a stage!
On January 28 and 29, 2025, Schladming will once again be the venue for the legendary night races.
Join in the excitement at the men's night giant slalom and night slalom. The atmosphere from the moment the first skier leaves the starting gate and conquers the World Cup slope is unique - both in the Planai stadium and at the ski party afterwards.

4th Mountain Rescue Fan Day 2025
On Friday, June 6, 2025, the 4th Mountain Rescue Fan Day will take place in Ramsau am Dachstein .
Get an insight into the world of the "real" mountain rescuers and meet their TV stars in person.
An extensive supporting program at the original location of the hit series guarantees an exciting and thrilling day in the mountains of Schladming-Dachstein.
36th Spring Festival of Horses

This traditional event is a celebration of tradition, customs and horses.
Musical walks, Schuhplattl'n and folk dancing ensure a good atmosphere. The highlight is the non-motorized parade of numerous flower-decorated horse-drawn carriages.

13th Original Mountain Rescue Fan Hike
September 12 - 14, 2025
"Die Bergretter" is a popular series that has been shown on ZDF since 2009.
Popular tradition: As part of the fan hike, you can experience the stars of the series up close and hike together to the famous filming locations in the Ramsau mountains.
You will learn exciting details and interesting facts about the current season.
A varied program, hours together with the stars of the popular TV series and the beautiful nature in Ramsau await you.
ATTENTION:
Dogs are not allowed at the event.
Program:
- Wednesday & Thursday: Check-in at the information office in Ramsau
- Friday: Hike (leisurely or sporty) in the Ramsau region
- Saturday: fan hike to "Hof Emilie" and evening event
- Sunday: sightseeing flights with the "yellow bird" (tickets available from Thursday 13:00)
